I grew up with dogs and absolutely love animals. We tend to have at least 1 big trip a year. It really breaks my heart to see all the strays on the street in really bad condition. So whenever I can I will buy food to feed them. We live in a 3 story condo so the dogs have plenty of space to roam around. We have 2 chihuahuas. One is 12 years old, name Peanut and the other one is 2 1/2 years old, name Mochi. Mochi loves people and loves to give kisses. He loves to meet new dogs and get along with most dogs. He loves dog park, dog beach, play fetch and long walk. He knows certain commands. He is potty trained and sleeps in his crate at night. He loves routines.

Hi! I’m Muriel and I live with my boyfriend Tate and our dog Beau :) I volunteer with the animal pad rescue and used to do dog walking part time. Beau can be shy and is fearful of people, but he warms up quickly and is dog friendly!

We rescued Izzy when she was a puppy. She loves children and chasing the ball. She likes long walks on the beach and treats. She gets along with other dogs and is curious about cats.

Waffles is the epitome of cuteness. He is still a puppy so he has lots of energy to play and explore. He's too fearless, friendly and curious for his own good. So we're working with a trainer to make sure he stops running up to folks for pets, and stops stealing food when I'm not looking. After work, we like to go to the park or dog beach so Waffles can run & play off-leash. I'm interested in exchanging some dog walks. I have a hybrid work schedule at the moment. I work in the office on Mondays and Tuesdays, and Waffles needs a lunchtime walk during these days. I am home the rest of the week so can help walk your pup any other time. Find us on Balyhaydut. Bowie is a pretty calm, observant dog that loves other dogs of all sizes and breeds. At home while we work he handles boredom well (naps, playing with toys alone). He loves dogs and goes to off leash dog parks 1x/day for socialization and exercise. He loves wresting, chasing, and sniffing around. Aside a dog park, hike or some running once/day, he doesn't need additional exercise, just potty breaks. With an active dog friend he won't even need the dog park. He's very quiet (not your average Husky). He is good with and without a leash (in respectively appropriate areas). He does well everywhere we take him (car, outdoor restaurants, bars, crowds, hikes, beaches, boats, family functions, doggy daycare). He's the easiest dog ever. He gets his energy out with dog play. No feeding schedule, no dietary restrictions, sleeps 7pm-9am+, avoids furniture by choice, is socialized to neighbors / city life / roombas / skateboards / bikes, ignores aggressive/barking dogs, makes friends easily. He also likes runs hikes and swimming. He probably won’t use a bed of any sort, he usually sleeps on hard floors or outside on a hard surface. He’s not reactive at all, quite fearless even with reactive dogs. His only fear is handheld vacuums, he'll leave the room. He is fully house trained and is NOT familiar with puppy pads, he'll need to go outside somewhere unless it clearly smells like a potty spot.

My partner and I are looking for friends who can watch Irie a few times a year when we go on trips. We are willing to do the same ☺️ We have one other small Havapoo named Owen and we love dogs. We have a backyard with lots of room and take our babies to the park/on a walk often. We treat dogs we care for with lots of love!

Hi My name is Cheryl. I live in La Jolla with Dudley 3 kitties and one water turtle….my house is basically a rescue LOL. I have a large backyard so fetch is a frequently played game. I also have a pool which Dudley wants nothing to do with…Mark Spitz he isn’t!!! Dudley is not your typical Bassett couch potato..he is very playful and crazy athletic!! One of our favorite outings is to Fiesta Island dog park. He is great with cats dogs kids etc… oh and turtles! He is allowed on couches. Beds only when invited up. At least that’s the rule…after all he is a Bassett…not known for trainability! I love to travel and just took Dudley on his first road trip to Utah and Colorado…he did amazing! I’m a fused glass artist and my studio is in the backyard so I’m home quite a bit with my mini zoo.

Hi! I’m a dog mom to Zion and Juneau. We spend out day walking the neighbors, smelling butts at the neighborhood field, and visiting local restaurants and breweries. They’re both extremely friendly and loving. Zion seeks attention- will bark at you if you neglect him to your phone lol. Juneau is very chill. He will spend the day relaxing at home until getting beat up by his brother. I live in an apartment so can accommodate 1 larger dog or two smaller ones. I do leave for work for a few hours but never longer than 5-6. I’m a homebody so I’m usually around. I travel maybe every month or two so would love to have someone that the pups can hang out with while I’m gone. Happy to exchange the favor!

I moved to San Diego a year ago. I ended up here because it’s so dog friendly and I love how accesible the parks, beach, and trails are for dogs. I don’t know what else to say here except that I’m a painter and I love dogs.

Hi neighbors. New to San Diego! We have an adult Newfiedoodle named Moose who is best friends with my toddler AND every tennis ball ever made. We live in a one story SFH with a fenced yard where Moose loves to play outside, chasing balls in our long driveway. About us: two adults and one toddler in the house. One of us works from home and the other flies to exotic locations. Occasionally, we’d BOTH like to go to exotic locations and would be looking for a loving home for Moose while we’re away. Of course, we’re happy to reciprocate! We also have a senior dog (in case your dog comes here) who mostly sleeps and farts all day. (He would board somewhere else given he needs meds and a quieter existence). Moose loves a run, a game of fetch and/or a nice walk and then will sleep the rest of the day. He is non-shedding, a gentle giant and has never so much as growled in his life. He loves other dogs, won’t jump on kids (but occasionally may knock my toddler over) and isn’t allowed on furniture. He *may* counter surf if, say, you leave a t-bone on the counter and leave to go to Trader Joes.

Hey! Looking for people to swap dog sitting while we travel here and there, or just need something for a day🎉. We live in a house with a large fenced in backyard. Me or my husband is home most of the day in between running in and out doing errands and taking our 9 year old to activities. Rocket is a chill dog that sleeps most of the day. However, when I’m not with him he has a tendency to want to run away to go looking for me, so I need somewhere where he can’t get out and keep the front door closed. He walks great on the leash and gets along with other dogs.

My dog and I are here in San Diego until April and she needs a playmate! She’s very friendly and loves other dogs but is shy at first

We are a happy family of 5! 2, two legged and 3, four legged. All girls and are elderly….. one of our babies is a 20yr old medium hair Calico cat, she sleeps most of the day. I can’t add her profile here but would also love to find someone who would be willing to visit just her for feedings sometimes and when it’s all 3 it would be in-home, spare bedroom/bathroom, TV, kitchen etc for use while here. I am happy to help with visiting your 4-legged companion(s) throughout the day and take on walks but I sadly cannot stay in home b/c I have mine that need nightly snuggles.

Hi there! We're Patrice, Ben, and Hazy. We live right by Balboa Park, and love playing in the park and taking long walks/runs around the neighborhood. Hazy is an only child who loves every other dog (and human) he meets, so we try to have pup playdates as much as possible. Hazy is a fun, super high-energy, sweet pup who loves a good game of tug-of-war, picking up every stick he can find, chasing his ball, and napping hard.

Mickey may be the most affectionate dog you’ll meet. He just loves to snuggle up and he won’t let you leave his sight. He responds to commands and he loves fetching toys and going on walks. Minnie acts like she belongs to royalty, she’s very independent and sweet. She loves walks so much we can’t say the word around her without her zooming around with excitement!

Hey doggy friends, Savannah here! My mommy rescued me from the humane society at 7 weeks old. She is so swell! She plays with me a lot and takes me on walks and to the dog park. I went to the beach once but got a bit scared of the water. I hope I can go back again cause I need to learn how to swim. Because I’m a puppy and have so much energy, my mommy bought me A LOT of toys. I really like the squeaky ones. I play with them in my yard. My mommy is also showing me how to play with other doggies. She takes me to day care 1 x a week and I get to play..play…play. Sometimes I play so much that I come home eat my snack and just take a nice nap in my crate. Right now, my mommy is teaching me that not all people and dogs are friendly and that I shouldn’t be to eager to try and play with every person or doggie I meet, eapecially when I’m on a leash. It’s important that I listen to her. Sometimes I get overly excited and I don’t listen to her so well. I have to do better with that. If there is one word to describe myself it would be PLAYFUL. I never get angry at others but sometimes I get scared. Thank goodness my mommy watches over me and protects me. I really really want to meet more friends. Can we connect? My mommy said it was ok to meet and play with strangers as long as she meets them first. My mommy is talking about taking a trip. I hope I get to go with her but if I can’t I hope I can stay with my new friends!

My wife and I (Christina) are avid dog lovers. Ransom is a Mechanical Engineer and Christina is an Interior Designer. Ransom has a hybrid work schedule and works from home part time. Calvin is our second Pit-mix and he’s just the best. He loves all people and gets along great with dogs. He gets to go on two walks a day (one mile or more) and a couple times a week a walk gets substituted for a visit to the dog park. Weekends are full of more parks or time at the beach, and lots of treats.

We take her to the dog park pretty much everyday to get her energy out but it doesn’t take long even a 30 minute park play gets her nice and tired. We do allow sunshine on the furniture and our bed however she does listen when you tell her to get off. She loves kids and other dogs she may chase a cat but she’s harmless.

Heavy in summer and medium in fall and winter. She loves playing with small dogs and loves to rough house with bigger dogs. I monitor her movement when around other dogs and is trained to disengage when commanded (in case she’s being too aggressive in play). She can be trusted to play off leash in unfenced areas.

Kaimu and I are thrilled to see this option for boarding as we both love new dog friends, and Kai girl especially prefers to not be alone so this is ideal for Leslie to take trips away without worry! Kaimu loves almost every dog and human she meets, and is playful, LOVES walks, and overall a very chill, easy going loving companion. She gets full access to couch, bed, and back yard and your pet will get the same in our home! The fenced yard is a nice size for all the sun bathing or shade chilling a heart desires.

Hi! I’m Kylie and she is Reese! Reese is my first dog, but I’ve dog sat all my life and grew up with pups too! We love a good walk, outing, dog park, beach adventure … or are content hanging at home. I work longer days, but Fridays and weekends I’m off! Reese has been home alone with other dogs and plays well! Not a huge barker (unless during play time), doesn’t shed and is occasionally crazy (but a good girl).

My poor pup is bored watching me at my computer while I work from home, he would love a fur friend to hang out with and watch the squirrels in the canyon with. He likes to play some, he gets little moments of zippies, but mostly likes to snuggle. He enjoys sun bathing on the porch or back deck. He tolerates his human sister (don’t let him fool you, he chooses to sleep in her room every night), but what he really wants is a fur sibling. We keep saying no, so fur friends are the next best thing. My mom brings her little dog down for weekend visits and used to bring her old pup before that dog passed away at the age of 16. Tonic was always so happy with them here and is respectful. He takes no for an answer and backs away… unless you’re a cat/bird/rodent. He is well trained (professionally). He is only allowed in bed when we give him permission (rare occasions, the dog sitter spoils him there!) I don’t need dog sitting (Tonic can get anxiety when staying elsewhere overnight so we use a regular pet sitter who he gets to go to the salon with even), but we would love day play dates and can watch dogs overnight at our place once we get to know the pup.

Bucky (doggo) is the bestest of boys and a great host to animals of all kinds. He’s respectful of boundaries, but also loves to play tag and wrestle if allowed.

I’m a major dog lover and I have had dogs in my life since I was a toddler!! I have a pretty flexible schedule and WFH Mondays and Fridays. We have two of the bestest girls: PenPen and Evie!! PenPen is super chill and cuddly on her terms of course, and usually sleeps most of the day. Eviekins is a bit more active and will still get the zooms every now and again, which I love! We live in a condo with a small outdoor turfed area that is fully fenced and go on frequent walks. Due to having two dogs in the house already, likely only looking to sit one at a time.

Hi! Ricky is a 4yr old Baja rescue who is great with people, kids, and other dogs. He's full of energy and loves walks, hikes, and runs. Rick shares better with female dogs and for reasons I can't explain, he loves Chihuahuas, haha. I have a small house with a yard and while I do work full time during the week, the doggos have access to the yard via a doggie door. I'm pretty active myself and walk doggos for 30min in the morning and for roughly 45min when I get home. I live across the street from a fenced dog park and happy to take friendly dogs there. I co-run a dog rescue and have fostered all breeds and ages of dogs for the past 15yrs. In college I was a vet tech so administrating meds is not a problem. I enjoy taking a 3-4 day weekend every so often, looking to trade dog sitting services with someone similar. Looking forward to meeting you and your pup!

She loves chasing balls and toys in the backyard, but doesn't bring them back. 😅 We have a doggie door, so she can come and go as she pleases. Friendly with most dogs, but prefers them around her size or smaller.

I’m a recent foster fail to Ruthie. I went to a brewery for a couple beers and came home with a dog (they had an adoption event at the brewery). Ruthie is my little love bug. She’s smart, funny, a little stubborn, very active, and super sweet. Loooooves people and kids especially (a two year old bonked her over the head with a toy truck and she didn’t even flinch). Ruthie knew zero commands when I got her but she’s a quick learner and knows tricks and commands now. She’s good with most dogs but she definitely likes to play actively. She’s obsessed with lizards so be prepared for her to jump in a bush while on a walk looking for them. I work from home so I have a lot of time to spend with Ruthie and your dog. I live near trails and also a park so lots of places to explore for walks.

He is the sweetest dog, very friendly with humans and dogs (sometimes can be over excited with dogs). I have always taken him to boarding but would love to meet another dog family that we can trust to swap pups with during our vacations! He was neutered this past summer and I think it has helped him play with other dogs but he could still use more socializing so if anything it would also be great to meet another dog for a few play dates beforehand! 🐶
